Boland Survey & Design’s Peter Boland

A local Toowoomba-based company, Boland Survey & Design began trading in December 2007 under Managing Director Peter Boland. Peter, who holds Associate Degrees in both Surveying and Civil Engineering, is registered with the ‘Queensland Surveyors Board’ (Engineering Surveying Endorsement) and is a member of the ‘Survey & Spatial Sciences Institute’.

Peter’s extensive professional experience of over 10 years Boland Survey & Design, also includes 12 years as a Civil Designer & Survey Manager with Brandon & Associates Consulting Engineers, and 12 years as a Senior Surveyor with Main Roads.

Peter Boland is also MUTCD Level 2 Accredited, First Aid, Cert 2 in Conservation & Land Management, and holds a Rail Industry Workers Card.

Boland Survey & Design who ensures quality on all surveys to all clients, maintains professional indemnity and public liability insurance, and employs two part time chainmen.

UAV Pilot

Peter is a certified drone pilot (RePL & ReOC Approved through CASA), with UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) capability for surveying, video audits, volume calculations, mining, agriculture, design, real estate and high elevation video monitoring. Boland Survey & Design operate a DGI Phantom 4 Plus quad rotor drone.

Trimble R8 & R10 RTK GPS (sub cm), Trimble S6 Robotic Total Station (Reflector-less), plus other associated equipment.

12d, AutoCAD, Trimble Business Centre, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Safety

Boland Survey & Design places Workplace Health & Safety as its priority on worksites. Experiencing zero work accidents since company began in 2007, there is a person qualified in First Aid and CPR on site at all times.
